BROW LIFT SURGERY RECOVERY
There may be little pain after a brow lift, but it is common to feel slight discomfort as well as a sensation of tightness throughout the forehead. Swelling and bruising are most common during the first 10 days and are mostly resolved after about 2 weeks. In some patients, this condition may include the cheek and eye area as well as the forehead. You will be advised to keep your head elevated for reduce swelling. Cold compresses may further reduce swelling. The sutures are usually removed within seven to 10 days following surgery. Any prolonged bruising can be camouflaged with standard make-up techniques.
The timeline for resuming activity after a brow lift depends on the individual. Avoid strenuous activity is recommended for at least two weeks. The improvements made with brow lift surgery will last for many years to come.
